I’m pleased to report that my children’s book, The (Underappreciated) Life of Humphrey Hawley, is available for purchase. I want to thank About Editions, Anthony Ramirez, and the illustrators, Carrie Louise-Wood and Rebecca Wood for their breathtaking paintings. This book is about a beetle who wants to be a ladybug because he sees the way they are loved by humans; however, after time spent pretending to be something he’s not, he learns to love his world and, more importantly, himself. The book is available in English and Spanish. The book tour will bring me to many children’s hospitals, though I will try to sprinkle in some libraries, schools, and bookstores as well.
